TARGET: Germany for kindergarten

What would you include in a thematic unit on Germany for
kindergarten students?
A kindergarten teacher asked me for help in updating her
unit on Germany. I would like to impress her with the
power of the internet by handing her a long list of
ideas. I am pushing for internet access at school and
succeeding with this project should help the cause.
I am looking for a variety of ideas including book
titles, authors, ways to introduce the culture, etc.
