I have discovered that my local wholesaler is selling the NEC four disc
changers for $99. I would guess most LM-Netters could find a similar price
at their local wholesale outlet. The units are IDE, quad speed, fit in a
standard 5.25" bay and are no more difficult to install than a standard
CD-ROM drive. Have not seen a review of them yet. Sounds perfect for the
typical standalone workstation. I have yet to try one but it sounds like a
major improvement over the Pioneer 601 I have been using for years. Great
for cataloging off multiple CDs. Anyone have experience with this model?
