TECH: library automation

Has anyone switched from Columbia Library System to another library system?
I think that someone else may have posted a similar question a few weeks
ago, but I didn't keep the name.  I also would appreciate any insights
anyone could send me about switching from one automation vendor to another.
I am looking for ideas on potential problems, questions to ask vendors
(especially about transferring information in the database), and any other
information you think is useful. TIA!
