  Why do you have to get the class lists from each teacher? Can't you get
a single list of all students enrolled from the counselor's office? Or,
if you aren't automated yet, get copies **from the counselor's office**
of the class lists? After all the counselor is the person who schedules
the kids in those classes so he/she must know where they are.
  Another possible source: does your main office have a student locator
type list that you could copy or borrow? How do they know where a student
is when mom brings up the lunch he forgot this morning?
  It's a whole lot easier to get something from 1 person than from many
people.
  Just a thought...
