Orientation question

After receiving several ideas on orientation, I decided to do a relay race
where teams will answer questions using Infotrac.  One of the teachers
thought that things might get too chaotic if some students are waiting around
while other members of their team are working on the computer.  Any
suggestions as to what the other students can be doing while waiting for
their team members to finish their part of the race?  This is for seventh
graders.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.
