Hi All
Went to my parents house over Thanksgiving in Asheville NC. They are deep
into herbs and vitamins and just happened to have a huge jar of Stevia. It
was extremely sweet. When I held my finger over the opened jar it was
covered with minute particles of Stevia. Although my finger appeared to
have nothing on it, when I licked it I could taste a very sweet substance-
even though I could see nothing. It was quite amazing. The intial taste
is a slight odd taste before your taste buds are overwhelmed by the
sweetness. A whole spoonful of the stuff would be overwhelminly sweet.

Evidently unrefined Stevia is a disgusting green and does not taste quite
as good as the refined. According to my mother this bottle should last
forever. Since it is non caloric compared with sugar wonder if there is a
Stevia cookbook. Could be great for those on a diet who have a yen for
something sweet. Meant to ask them and forgot. Darn they don't have email
yet, so I will Have to waste some good money on a phone call.:-)
