If you have Mac version, and I'm talking version1.0 ...

From the  "Bookmarks" menu bar item, pull down to "View Bookmarks".

In the simple window wherein the titles of sites are listed (rectangle on
the left side of "Bookmark List" window) highlight/click on the site you
do not want anymore.

Look in the lower right of the "Bookmark List" window and you will see a
button for "Remove Item".

Click on it and the site will be gone.
