I'm looking for a good novel to help us celebrate Black History Month. Our intergenerational book discussion group has previously enjoyed Toni Morrison's _Song of Solomon_ and _Beloved_, Gaine's _A Lesson Before Dying_, Hurston's _Their Eyes Were Watching God_. We'll read Johnson's "91 American Book Award Winner _Middle Passage_ if we don't get a better suggestion (available in paperback, please.) Any ideas? Please respond directly. If there's interest, I'll post a hit. TIA! +=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+= Roger Frick rfrick@omnifest.uwm.edu South High School Waukesha, Wisconsin
