GEN: Origin of quote

Does anybody know the origin of the quote, "The library is a weight room
for the mind" or something like that?  I wrote it down while perusing a
catalog, and I would like to use it for a bulletin board.  However, I
want to be able to attribute it and I cannot locate the catalog I found
it in.  (Does anybody else get _buried_ in catalogs?)  TIA.
