Dear lm-netters, I am fortunate enough to have Mike Eisenberg as an instructor on video through the San Jose State program. One of the articles that he had us read was by Daniel Barron. In it Mr. Barron suggests tongue firmly planted in cheek that we call ourselves School Library Information Multimedia Technology Resources Manager Coordinator Teacher Specialist (SLIMTRMCTS). I'm not sure this would fit on the business card. :) I would opt for the term library information teacher. It is important that we keep the term library. It has a beautiful history and would be a shame not to use it. The term information is important for us to grab rather than some other staff member. As for teacher that is the job that I proudly do. Cheers, Steve Burstein Parkman Middle School Woodland hills CA
