San Mateo-Foster City School District is seeking outstanding candidates
for the following positions:

2 Middle School Library/Media Specialists (183 days)
  Desired qualities:
        Exceptional interpersonal skills.
        The ability to promote the effective use of the school library by
           staff and students.
        The ability to use and promote the use of technology to manage
           and access information.


K-5 Lead Library/Media Specialist for 15 Elementary Schools (195 days)
   Desired Qualities:
        Exceptional interpersonal skills.
        The ability to train, supervise and support the elementary school
           library paraprofessional staff.
        The ability to use and promote the use of technology to manage
           and access information.
        The ability to work with the staff and community in its effort to
           re-establish the important role the library plays in providing
           a quality educational experience for each student.
        The ability to help create and coordinate the development of a wide
           area network of library resources.

  Requirements for positions listed above:
        California Teaching Credential and,
        A valid Multi Media Specialsit Credential or a willingness to
           acquire one within 36 months of accepting the position.


Lead Technology Trainer (183 days)
   Desired qualities:
        Exceptional interpersonal skills.
        Responsible for implementing the training component for the technology
           master plan for certificated staff.
        The ability to motivate and guide staff at varying levels of
           competence in the use of technology in the curriculum.

   Requirement:
        Valid California Teaching Credential.
