We need a half-time certified elementary library media specialist for a =
school of 250 students in Lawrence, Kansas.  A half-time library media =
assistant operates the library when the library media specialist is not =
there.  She is also certified.
Lawrence is a university town of about 70,000 people midway between =
Topeka and the greater Kansas City area.
The district has central processing, all schools are automated with =
Follett's Unison program, and flexible schedule where the library media =
specialist works as part of the educational team with the classroom =
teachers.  Principal is supportive of the library media program and =
especially technology.
