-- [ From: Cheryl Sturgeon * EMC.Ver #2.5.02 ] -- Dear LM-Netters, Well, for the 4th day out of 6 my daughter has told me that her class watched a movie in school. So far she has sat through The Flintstones, The Big Green (?). It Takes Two and Casper and we have 2 more days of school left. She says students bring them in and the teacher shows them. I might not be quite so irritated, if she didn't come home with homework on these days! So, is this not a copyright violation when there is NO discernible teaching connection? I guess, I just grit my teeth. I'm not the copyright policewoman in her school. In the district I work in, the teachers are informed of these copyrights and also are STRONGLY encouraged to stick to educational videos at this time of year when they all want to use the handy time filler. Just venting, but whatdya think? Cheryl -- Cheryl A. Sturgeon Highland Local Schools csturgeo@ohio.net
