SEC: Senior Reading list

My senior English teacher has asked for this info and I know I will get
great answers.  I will publish the answers if I get enough responses.  The
teacher has her reading list divided into themes.  She is looking for books
(classics) to add to the list.

The themes are as follows:

Women in Literature:  the Struggle for Self-Realization
The Need for Love
Outsiders:  People who do not Fit into their world
Values:  What really matters?
Who Am I?:  The Search for Personal Identity
The Price of Courage
The Past and the Present
Going Against "The Establishment"
The Search for Meaning and Order in Life
The Drive to Succeed:  Dreams of a Better Life

The students choose a theme at the first of the year and then read books
related to that theme all year.  Please help us to add to the list.  Thanks.
