Resolved Gilly Hopkins Challenge

I wish to thank the numerous respondents who emailed helpful info.
regarding The Great Gilly Hopkins, a book which was challenged by a parent
at my K-5 school.  After reading the book, consulting the review sources
which individuals so generously offered, reflecting on the author's
reputation and overall theme of the book, our materials selection
committee voted unanimously to keep Gilly as part of our collection.
