Debra, I have several cd encyclopedias in the hs media center. They include Encarta 95 (plan to update in summer 96), Information Finder (World Book), Compton's and Grolier. My plans are to alternate one year with print encyclopedias and the next with electronic encylopedias. Students much prefer the electronic ones over print. However, due to limited comptuers (2 computers to 500+ students) and the fact that sometimes the hardware/software crashes there is a need for both types. Petra E.
