TARGET: Public Libraries/School Libraries

Hi, everyone. Our city is planning an education summit. One of the issues
they will be looking at, is the role of libraries. I have a great deal of
research about the importance of school libraries that I will be sending to
the City Council President, but I have heard a rumor that they are actually
considering replacing school librarians with public librarians, or
replacing the on site school libraries with the use of the public
libraries. Please send me any information you have about school v. public
