TECH:25 comp share 1 phone line?

This afternoon I attended my first Technology Committee meeting at our new
school...wired for Internet access.  So far we have one MAC in the LMC
connected to Internet.  Someone on the committee said they had heard that
Apple has a new product that will allow 25-50 computers to utilize the same
(only one) phone line so that all 25-50 can access the Internet at the same
time....but all using that same (only one) phone line.  Can anyone out there
tell me more about this? Is there such an item?  TIA
