A friend who is with our state department of public instruction says that after many years of referring to *media* centers at national conferences and other meetings, people look at her in a puzzled way. She has to explain that what she means is the *library*, and they understand perfectly. It doesn't take much additional explanation to have them understand the technological additions. Edna Boardman
