For the Ks, we let them pick out a bookmark when they checkout (Brenda, the Library Assistant, room decorator Wonder Woman does that). The kids really like to show me their bookmark as I line them up (and usually read them the title of the book), then I tell the teacher what book we read and they doa 'thumbs up'.
