REF: Public Library Statistics

First, thank you to all who responded to my request for NLW titles and
movies with librarians/libraries in them. I hope to post a hit with the
list by the end of the weekend.  Here is my next request.
My final seminar topic deals with grant writing.  I am helping a professor
with a research project he is doing and I need to find out what the most
current ranking is for New York State public school libraries (elementary
and secondary).  The main thing is NY State's overall ranking among the 50
states and then any current (preferably after 1994/95) statistics on how
NY State public school libraries rank (overall, collections, staff, money,
anything).  If anyone out there knows the answer or where I can find it,
please let me know as soon as possible.  Please e-mail me directly

info, but if anyone out there does, contact me and after I have my answer
I will be glad to forward it to anyone interested.  Thank you all in
advance for your help, I am running out of places to look and everything I
find is not current enough.
