Target: Copyright question

Hello LM_Net,

We are currently renting the Disney Video Library for one year. My
principal wants me to make  a copy of this as a backup for checkout.  I
told him that I thought that this was not legal.  if anyone know of where
I can find this information to show him, or whether he is correct, I
would appreciate the information.
