I have 4 favorites to share: -Murder at Ebbets Field- and _Murder at Fenway Park_, by Troy Soos. If you like baseball and/or mysteries, these are a lot of fun! Mickey Rawlings is the main character who is playing baseball around 1912. He is a utility player who gets involved in mysteries at the ballpark. While Mickey is a fictional character, many real-life baseball personalities are included. _The Daughter of Time_, by Josephine Tey. This is a terrific mystery for history buffs. A British detective is laid up with a job-related injury, so he puts his mind to the question of whether or not Richard III deserves his bad rep. This book has me going to the history books to try to decide for myself! _Riding Shotgun_, by Rita Mae Brown, is just a great story. The main character is a Mistress of the Hunt in present-day Virginia, who one day on a fox hunt travels back in time to the early 1600's and meets her ancestors. This one is hard to put down. Enjoy.
