The Nassau School Library System, located on Long Island, New York seeks
a certified school library media specialist to manage the Nassau School
Library System (NSLS) Library Automation and Resource Sharing Service
under the direction of Carol Kroll, the NSLS director. Responsibilities
include coordination of the Service; training school ligrary media
specialists and support staff to use and manage the SIRS/Mandarin
Library Automation System; planning and conducting users' meetings; and
acting as an automation liaison to the school districts.

The successful candidate will have a strong technology background and
good teaching and interpersonal skills.  NYS permanent Library Merdia
Specialist certification is required.  The salary range is in the low
$50,000.
