Oriental rugs/geometry

        Since I hear from several listservs and did not print
the original posting, I think this site comes from the Turkish
Studies Association.  It is sponsored by the Textile Museum and
the Math Forum and uses patterns in oriental rugs to
demonstrate various forms of symmetry.  Both art and math
teachers will find it useful.
