Friends:

As you may know, one of my dreams is the development of a collaborative,
international Internet catalog for K-12, which I dubbed I-Cat, and which
I have been bothering many of you individually about taking on a piece.

Well, this morning, I discovered:

http://www.studyweb.com/

Although I want to study it more, on first glance it seems to be a
close approximation of the I-Cat idea. Sites are found and reviewed by a
large number of contributors, and are rated for graphic content and
minimum suggested age level. If you don't already know about it, check it
out. I bet you will add it to your online library resources.

I heard about studyweb on the Internet TOURBUS, Patrick Crispen's twice
weekly review of cool sites, which I also recommend:

Join: Send SUBSCRIBE TOURBUS Your Name to LISTSERV@LISTSERV.AOL.COM
Leave: Send SIGNOFF TOURBUS to LISTSERV@LISTSERV.AOL.COM

Happy surfing!
