Teachers as Readers

I have gotten a few messages in reference to Teachers as Readers, but they
asked more questions than gave answers.  I though that I might clarify
exactly what Teachers as Readers is.  It is a book club set up for teachers.
In this club, teachers read a selection of children's books and discuss them
as a group about once a month.  It is a good way to get ideas for using
books in the classroom.  I have heard that there are grants available for
such a program, but I would like to know where I could get information about
them.  I still need some feedback from people who have started a Teachers as
Readers group in their school.
