Dear 'Netters,
A substitute teacher came in today wanting to know the rest of
this poem which had been recited to her husband when he was a child
in the late '30's. It was published at the time in either the "Kansas
City Star" or the "Fort Worth Telegram" and has been in a book since
then. She has no idea of the correct spelling of the name which may
also be the title of the poem:
           Jay -Bez-Doz
He slunk like a weasel or martin
To every child in kindergarten
And whispered low to every tot
There isn't any, no there's not

If you recognize this poem and can send me more of the
lines, please do so. The teacher has looked in many poetry books
which we and the public library have . Thanks, Judy
