American Libraries (February p.25) reports that The Richmond Virginia Public
Library stopped doing business with Baker and Taylor in 1992 "because
allegations surfaced that B&T overcharged the library. May [city attorney]
said the city investigated and reached a $5,600 settlement with B&T."

Without more information, we don't know if this settlement included an
admission of guilt on B&T's part, and or a pledge of silence, as seems to be
common in these settlements.
