>30 days hath September

I had a hard time with this and was taught to fold my hand into a fist and
touch knuckle, then space (between joints), knuckle, space - across my hand
and then back while saying the names of the months ... For instance, the
1st knuckle is January, the 1st space is February. The knuckle months have
31 days and the spaces have 30. The problem is, when you turn around to
come back on the hand, you have to touch the last knuckle for 2 months
(July/August) or it doesn't come out right!!

Boy, the things we rememebr......or don't! I keep a calendar near by to
verify!!!! :-)
