OFFER: Create author lists

Every year that I have to find an author for our Young Writer's Conference
I have a devil of a time finding address (other than publishers) or names
of reliable and entertaining authors, so I thought it might be a good idea
to hear from as many of you as possible with your recommendations of
authors, their contact address, and perhaps, a short comment about their
reception by students.  I'll compile the list and then repost it to the
list.  So, if you have names of authors you've had for visits please send
me a message with their name and address and I'll start compiling.  I'd
like to be able to post the finishes list by the middle of February.  If
you as a group think this is a bad idea, then let me know and I'll save
myself the time and trouble.
