Cd vs. Online

I think that it is only a matter of time before CD periodical databases
are replaced by online.  One of the biggest problems, assuming you
already have multiple Internet accounts, is what to do if you can't get
online.   In talking the Rep from Information Access Company, which does
Infotrac and Searchbank, which is online, he indicated that Searchbank
would provide quarterly cd backups.   I haven't verified this.   But I
have  looked at both Proquest Direct and Searchbank and find Searchbank
better.   It has an immense database and good search features. I suggest
that anyone looking to go online should preview this.  I think this will
be a very big issue for the next 24 months and we should keep this
discussion going.
