ubject: Re: LM_NET Digest - 1 Jul 1997 - Special issue This is my first time to post. I am a School Library Media Specialist at a K-8 school in Prescott, Arizona. The budget is very small, so I must be extremely careful what I order. Does anyone have suggestions to compile for a HIT about interesting computer books for grades 6-8? I like _Cybersurfer_ by Nyla Ahmad and _Computer Dictionary for kids...and their parents_ by Jamie Lynne Borman These are informative, fairly current, colorful and appealing. Any other ideas that are more current (1996,1997). Also, I have money to order one student computer magazine. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. I would like one that lists good Internet sites, teaches current computer vocabulary, and has interesting activities for grades 6-8. Any suggestions?
