In response to Sharron's very timely and appropriate remarks - I
wonder how much of the resistance to "update" tests and expectations
are a result of "the easy way out" and how much is a result of an
innate fear of change itself?  Library Media Specialists I've met from
across the country are most open and embrace change - we must be
advocates in other areas for the sake of the children...
