HIT: Printer location on a network

Dear LM_NETTERS,
A big thank-you to those who responded to my question concerning where to
place the network printer in our media center.  Overwhelmingly, the response
was to place the printer by the circulation desk to control the printing.
However, a few people asked me if I want the work of constantly handing out
the printouts.  Also, which situation is best for the kids?  I shared your
replies with my staff and we decided to place the printer behind the desk.
We also plan on charging for copies (we haven't decided the guidelines yet).
