The March 10, 97 issue of Business Week, pg. 18 has an article "Compaq's $1000 Bargain." To quote: computer case is sealed, simplifying the design and eliminating the need for expansion bays and slots. Preloaded with Windows 95 and the all-purpose Microsoft Works, among others. I just wish that Compaq had left some room for growth by including a Universal Serial Bus connector with its serial printer and game-controller ports, USB devices.... Monitor is additional is $300 -- processer is another major design departure...Instead of Intel Pentium, it uses a 133-megahertz Cyrix Media CX chip, more or less equivalent to a 133-Mhz Pentium. Hope this helps. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Terry Young, M.Ed., M.L.S.
