Willo Davis Roberts has written Sugar isn't everything: a support book, in fiction form, for the young diabetic. It is really pretty good, and one of the custodians, who is diabetic, read it and said it was fairly accurate, especially in terms of feeling left out of things and hating the routine that needs to be followed.
