Missouri Author

I need a Missouri author to speak at my high school.  We are starting
a grant project and need an author who can motivated unmotivated kids
to read.  We are going to do video book reports, use audio taped books
with the actual book, and do some video editing with storyboards.

My original author who was scheduled for Nov 4 cannot come and I need
a replacement to kick off this project.  I only have 200 dollars.
This would be for a group of 25 -35 special needs students.

Can anyone recommend someone?
