Has anyone had any experience circulating Dreamwriters in the library = for students to do word processing? We have 3 network computers for searching the catalog, searching the = internet, looking things up on CD-Rom. I hate to tie them up with word = processing. Students not only need to type their papers, but they like to take notes = on computer and they often work in groups to prepare a presentation = (making a computer printout for each member highly desirable). Are Dreamwriters too juvenile looking? Of course, they wouldn't = *substitute* for full network computers... Bottom line: Has anyone tried lending them out in the library?
