Following is a compilation of suggestions in response to my post about ten
days ago seeking names of non-conformists, of people who traveled "the
road
less taken". Thanks to the following LM_NETters who contributed: Julie
Rogers, Audrey Glick, Myra Gross, Cathie Miller, Becky Keller, Lynn
McCree, Sister Sally Daly, Debbie White, Kathleen Fernandes, and Paul
Kreamer.

*****
Robin Graham and Tania Aebi, both of whom
chucked college to sail a small boat single-handed around the world.
Robin's
book is called *Dove* and Tania's is *Maiden Voyage*. You might also add
the
late Robert Manry who described his own trans-atlantic journey as a
middle-aged family man taking a 13 foot sailboat to England in
*Tinkerbelle*.

Dorothea Dix, Victoria Woodhull, Cesar Chavez, Margaret Sanger.

Look at the names of the people listed on the latest Macintosh commercial
on
TV. (suggested by two people)

2 people)
