FWIW, The ForeFront Group, who sell WebWhacker, still have it on their WWW site in demo and purchase versions for Mac, Win3.1x, and for Win95. I'd suggest anyone contemplating using it contact them. They have an email listed, support@ffg.com. There are 800 and conventional phone numbers as well. The download and purchase URL is: http://www.ffg.com/whacker/ FWIW again, a little research has shown that one should get permission to "whack" sites; many non-commercial say yes, some say no, MOST have been reported as not answering the emailed questions. I have seen several reports of users sending a follow up to those who don't answer something like: Our non-profit organization requested permission to use your site's information on (date) and received no reply. We are putting it into use unless and until we are asked to remove it. Only the communications are affected; ALL information is unaltered. THANKS! This will, in its small part, improve the response of the Internet for all. I am the (techy type) husband of a Media Specialist, and have no affiliation with any company mentioned. George W.
