Ideas needed for Safety Unit, 6-8

Our physical education department is looking at their state goals and school
improvement plans at this time and find that they need to concentrate on
safety within the school, home, and work place.  I am the library Media
Specialist and they have come to me for some suggestions and ideas on
developing such a unit.  I first suggested that we might write Middle-L and
find out what OTHER middle schools are doing in this area. If you would be
so kind, PLEASE SHARE ideas, units of study, resources (i.e., good video's,
web sites, print matierials, etc.) with us. Any help you can give would be
very much appreciated.
