Re: Elton John's new lyrics

Roberta and others,

Elton John and his songwriting partner, Bernie Taupin,  wrote the
original "Candle in the Wind."  Elton John rewrote the lyrics for Diana.


I saw in today's paper that John has recorded the revised version and has
turned over all royalties to Diana's foundation to support charities.
