A 3rd grade teacher will be reading "Jasmine and Rex", a Romeo and Juliet variation that uses a cat and a dog, to her students. She would like to read them Romeo and Juliet first, though, so they know the story. Other than the Wishbone adaptation, are there any other children's versions (or watered down, abridged versions) of this classic story? Thanks! **************************************************************** Suzanne Weinheimer, Library Media Specialist South Mountain School/Annex (K-4) South Orange, NJ 07079 voice/fax 1-973-378-7848 personal email: suzanne@whatexit.com school email: smlib@bellatlantic.net school web page: http://southmountain.somsd.k12.nj.us ***************************************************************** =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-==-= To quit LM_NET (or set NOMAIL or DIGEST), Send an email message to listserv@listserv.syr.edu In the message write EITHER: 1) SIGNOFF LM_NET 2) SET LM_NET NOMAIL or 3) SET LM_NET DIGEST * NOTE: Please allow time for confirmation from Listserv.
