One of my staff came in today to ask if I would know how to find movie reviews from the 1950's. Her college age son is taking a cinema course and has been given this task as part of a major paper. I suggested the NY Times Index, but I'm not sure if they're available on microfiche that far back, or if they've been put on a CD ROM product. Seems like quite a stretch to go that far back. Does anyone have any other suggestions on how to approach this research?
