Mouse balls

I noticed several questions on the list about mice so thought I'd post
this to the group.  Mouse balls can't be bought separately from the mice.

 I got my mouse balls from CompUSA when I needed replacement ones.  I
found the stores that repair computers usually have a stack of broken mice
they are going to throw out.  CompUSA gave me all the balls out of them a
few years ago and then I took them to work to see which balls were the right
size.  They did not charge me for them.
