Comics - inquiry

A course writer here is drafting a course for the 'visual strand' of  a
Years 9 & 10  [age 13-14] 'alternative' English course.

As part of the course she wants to incorporate references to and use of
comics.

She's aware of the authors/titles listed at the end of this email, but
wonders if there are other titles that might appeal to this age group and
level.

If you have any ideas you'd be willing to share please email them NOT to me
but to sarah.rutherford@correspondence.school.nz. (Sarah is not a
subscriber to this list, so won't be able to read them if you post just to
the listserv).
