Elem: Carnaval

Hi all,
        I am thinking ahead to February.  Since our school is sponsoring a
boy in Brazil this year I volunteered to coordinate a celebration of
Carnaval.  We are definitely going to make rhythm instruments and have a
parade.  I am hoping to get some Latin American students in and some
musicians.  We are looking for games, crafts, etc.
        I was just wondering if anyone had done anything like this and had
any suggestions.
