   This is a fun story of a group of friends and their interactions
in a 7th grade.  The title comes from an episode in gym class during
a situp contest when someone passed gass.  It is blamed on the new
girl in school.  The story involves a family with a bunch of pets.
Between school, friends, and the pets there are many great
situations.  The author definitely has captured the wanderings of
6th-7th grade minds.  This 120 page book would be a great hi/lo book.
