I'm doing a Dewey lesson with Middle Schoolers. I'm having them place sample book spines in Dewey order. I want to use real examples, and just for a touch of humor, I'd like to find the weirdest titles I can come up with. I'll post a HIT if results are worthwhile. I need these before Monday, Feb 2, so only responders this weekend need reply. I know it's a weekend and all, but I also know that most of you have extensive book collections at home. Just pick the strangest title you can find and send me Title, Author, and the Dewey # from the CIP cataloging on the verso. For example (from our public library's catalog) I found: Worms Eat My Garbage 631.8 App Happy hunting, and TIA! *)*)*)*)*)*)*)*)*)*)*)*)*)*)*)*)*)*)*)*)*)*)*)*)*)*)*)*)*)*)*)*)*)*)*)*)*)*)*) Gayle Hodur Snail Mail: District Librarian Main Street Middle School Soledad Unified School District 441 Main Street (408) 678-3923 Soledad, CA 93960 ghodur@redshift.com =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= To quit LM_NET (or set NOMAIL or DIGEST), Send an email message to listserv@listserv.syr.edu In the message write EITHER 1) SIGNOFF LM_NET 2) SET LM_NET NOMAIL or 3) SET LM_NET DIGEST NOTE: Please allow time for confirmation from Listserv.
